Hi, I'm Natalie and today Veritas Health is going to bring you an easy wrist extensor stretch for wrist tendinitis. To perform the stretch, take the wrist you want to stretch. Hold your arm out in front of you with your hand facing down towards the ground. Take your other hand and provide a gentle pressure through your knuckles pulling the hand towards you. You should feel a stretch through the back of your forearm. Hold this stretch for 30 seconds. If this stretch hurts or worsens your symptoms, please stop and consult with your medical provider.
You can then switch to the other side. Put your arm out in front of you, hand facing down towards the ground, and at your knuckles, provide a little bit of pressure back towards you looking for a gentle stretch to the back of the forearm. I recommend using a timer while doing these stretches because 30 seconds can be a lot longer than it feels.
