Dr. Robert P. Wilder is medical director of University of Virginia’s Runner’s Clinic in Charlottesville, VA, where he treats over-use injuries and addresses biomechanical abnormalities, strength deficits and training errors that can make runners prone to injury or re-injury. He has authored and edited dozens of articles and textbooks, including Running Medicine (2nd Edition, Healthy Learning, 2014). He is the Harrison Distinguished Associate Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and chair of the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Virginia School of Medicine.
