Dr. Sean Colio is a board-certified sports medicine physician specializing in sports and musculoskeletal injuries and prevention. He is certified by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography in musculoskeletal sonography, a technology he uses to diagnose and treat sports medicine injuries. Dr. Colio has published several textbook chapters on the use of musculoskeletal ultrasound in sports injuries. He is board certified in brain injury medicine and the co-founder and co-director of the Sports Concussion Clinic at Swedish Spine, Sports & Musculoskeletal Medicine. He is one of the original core faculty for the ACGME accredited Sports Medicine Fellowship at Swedish Medical Center. Dr. Colio provides sports medicine expertise and care to several sports teams at the high school, collegiate, and semi-pro levels.
